Pest Assignment

Students were tasked to create a powerpoint slide demonstrating the ideas learned in the introductory pest unit. This include different styles of insect metamorphosis, examples of insects from orders commonly found in Wisconsin, as well as insect mouthparts. The goal of this assignment was to familiarize students with these concepts and how they would effect landscape plants, their care and integrated pest management plans. This assignment was challenging as it required a lot of independent research as well as knowledge of pest terminology.
